Hoddles Creek Estate Chardonnay 2015
- I've decided to release a small amount of the 2015. Great year for Chardonnay, the 2015 was featured in James Halliday's Top 100. Tasting this last week it is really starting to open up. Looks like a long life ahead.

Eight estate-grown clones, 80% crushed and destemmed, 20% whole bunches, mix of wild and cultured yeasts, 100% barrel-fermented in French oak (25% new), matured for 10 months. Sits comfortably alongside its Pinot Noir sibling, with the same attention to detail and similar over-delivery against price expectations. White peach, melon grapefruit and French oak are spun so tightly together it's hard to weigh up their individual contributions, and not necessary to do so.
